Or bring your own curriculum
Upload the sheet from school, a tutor's plan, or a syllabus you wrote.
What it is
Upload a document and we read the topics out of it: the sheet from school, a tutor's plan, a syllabus you wrote yourself. It becomes a curriculum on your account, listed alongside the regional ones, and any book or practice set can be built from it.
What it is for
Not every family follows the standards their state publishes. Home educators, international schools, a maths programme bought off a shelf, a tutor working through a list of their own. Rather than translating your plan into ours, you hand us the plan itself, and the books follow what your child is actually being taught.
How to use it
- Open Curriculum and scroll past the subject cards to Your curriculum.
- Drop the file onto that row, or press Browse files. A CSV, a PDF, a DOCX, a TXT file or a photo of a page all work.
- Read what we found. Nothing is added to your account until you say so.
- Name it, set From grade and To grade, and choose a child under Start using it for.
- Tap Add to keep the topics, or Discard and try another file.
What we suggest
A CSV with one row per topic reads most reliably. A photograph of a page is the hardest thing to get right, so reach for it only when there is nothing else. Split a long syllabus by subject or by year and add each part on its own, because one curriculum can hold only so much.
