A quick tour

Everything in Bespoke Tales lives in the menu on the left. Here is what each place is for.

A walk through the menu with Alice and her brother Leo: the Library shelf, the Curriculum by subject, a practice pack, the Progress board, the Kids page with each child’s reading level and the companions who join the stories, then Account.

On a laptop the menu is down the left side. On a phone, tap the menu button at the top.

Library

Every book you have made for your family. Press Read to open one, Listen to hear it read aloud, or Add a voice to make a narration. Start an adventure (on a phone, New Adventure) is where every new book begins.

Curriculum

What your child learns at school, subject by subject (Math, English and Reading, Science, Social Studies and more), from your own state’s lessons. It shows how many topics already have a book, so you can see what to make next. You can also upload your own syllabus here.

Practice

A practice pack is a short set of questions on one lesson. The page opens on the pack your child was last working on, so they carry on from there.

Progress

How your child is doing: questions answered, how many were right first time, and a short list under Worth doing next, with a button to make a practice pack for each one.

Kids

Add your children here, and set each one’s reading level and Problem-solving depth (how tricky their puzzles and questions are). It is also where you add companions: the family, friends and pets who can join the stories. Press + Add Companion to add someone new.

Account

Your credits, purchases, saved card, gift codes, and your invite link (you and a friend each get a free book when they join).

Privacy and data

What we keep about each child, the consents you have given, and deleting a child or your account.
