Turn a result into the next thing
Under the score, a link starts more practice on the very same topic.
What it is
Every workbook page carries a Keep learning panel under its score line. Make a practice pack opens the practice pack creator already focused on the standard that workbook was built on, when the workbook has one, so the next thing they do is more work on the thing that did not land.
What it is for
A result you read and close teaches nobody anything. The moment you learn a topic did not land is the moment to act on it, and by then the topic is already on the screen in front of you. Finding that same standard again in a long list is the step where good intentions usually stop.
How to use it
- Open Progress and tap a finished book under By storybook.
- Read the score line: right first try, then how many are solved now.
- Tap Make a practice pack under Keep learning. A workbook built on a curriculum topic carries that topic across; one built on none opens the creator unfocused.
- Enter your parent PIN when you tap Create practice pack, and the set is written.
- Tap Practise this again instead, to give them the same questions a second time with the first attempt kept.
What we suggest
Do it while the result is still on the screen. Make a story sits beside it and opens New Adventure for the same child, with the same topic already chosen when the workbook has one. A retake is worth most after practice rather than before it.
