The Progress board
Progress brings together every answer your child has given in their storybooks and practice packs, so you can see what they know well and where a little help would go a long way.
Reading the board
- Open Progress in the menu, and pick your child at the top right. It is a page for grown ups, so Kid Mode hides it.
- The first line counts every question made for them so far, and how many they have answered.
- Worth doing next picks out their weakest topic, their best so far, and the questions nobody has tried yet. The first two have a Make a practice pack button right there.
- By subject gives each subject a score, with a bar showing how much came from storybooks and how much from practice. Beside it, By storybook and By practice pack list each one with how it went.
- Tap a subject to see its topics, then a topic to see every storybook and pack behind it. Keep learning makes a new practice pack or a new story on that topic.
- See what is waiting lists everything on their shelf they have not tried. Nudge puts it behind their own Your turn door in Kid Mode. It costs nothing and makes nothing new.
One storybook’s questions
- Tap a book under By storybook. At the top is the lesson it was built on, when it has one, and a line with how many were right on the first try and how many are solved now.
- Read down the questions. Each shows the answer your child gave, marked Correct on the first try, Correct (needed another try), Not correct yet or Not answered yet. For one they missed at first, you also see the correct answer and why it is right.
- Under Keep learning, Make a practice pack opens the pack maker on that same lesson, and Make a story starts a new story on it. A book built on no lesson opens them with nothing chosen.
- On a finished workbook, press Practise this again, then Start a fresh attempt, to give them the same questions again. The earlier attempt is kept, and the Attempt buttons take you back to either.
