You approve before we spend
No book is made, and nothing is charged, without you saying yes first.
What it is
Nothing is written, drawn or charged until you have seen what the story would be. You answer the questions, we work out three story ideas from your answers, and they arrive as three cards. Choosing one of them is the moment a book credit is spent and the illustrating starts.
What it is for
Artwork is the expensive half of a book, and once a book is drawn there is no putting it back. So the decision sits where it is still cheap to make: after you can read what each story would be, and before a single page is drawn. There is no subscription and nothing renews. A credit is spent when you spend it.
How to use it
- Tap New Adventure and work along the top through Topic, Cast, Scene and Look.
- Wait on Ideas while the three stories are worked out. Nothing has been spent at this point.
- Read all three cards. Each one names its first chapters and says how many characters it has.
- Tap Start this story on the one you want. That is the credit, and the drawing begins.
- Tap back instead, change an answer, and three different ideas are written.
What we suggest
Read all three before you choose. They are deliberately different kinds of tale, and the one you did not expect is often the better book. If none of them fits, go back and change an answer rather than settling for the closest one. Only the choosing costs anything.
